Mardi Gras - Lacey Alexander Originally posted on Joyfully Reviewed: http://www.joyfullyreviewed.com/reviews/Feb10/mardigras.la.html

Mia has been in love with Ty since she was a teenager. Unfortunately, he’s never really seen her in a sexual light, always classifying her as a “good girl.” When Mia overhears Ty’s most secret fantasy, she gets a wicked idea. Mia attends a Mardi Gras party they’re both invited to, but she disguises her identity and sets as out to seduce Ty. Her plan works better than she ever could have expected – Ty’s crazy for “Mistress Mina.” But what will happen when Ty finds out that bad girl Mina and good girl Mia are one and the same?

Prepare yourself for a pulse-poundingly erotic ride through the French Quarter in the sinfully delicious Mardi Gras. Lacey Alexander has created an endearing heroine in Mia. She is the good girl Ty sees her as, but she’s also so much more. I loved watching her embrace her naughty side and show Ty what she really wanted. Ty, who fans of Ms. Alexander met in a previous story, French Quarter, may be wrong about Mia, but he’s one sexy hero. The journey he and Mia take is sinfully steamy and sure to make you blush. Mardi Gras did fizzle out a bit at the end, but for the most part it was a fantastic read. I love the no-holds-barred sensuality of Ms. Alexander’s characters, and Mia and Ty are no exception. Add that to their innate likeability, and Mardi Gras is one wild good time.
