Unscripted - Kristin Daniels My review is cross-posted from Joyfully Reviewed: http://www.joyfullyreviewed.com/reviews/Jan10/unscripted.KD.html

Brynn Lang is excited about taking on a role in a sure-fire blockbuster film that will add a much-needed lift to her career. What she isn’t as excited about is the major love scene that will take up her first day of filming. Nerves jangling, Brynn walks onto the set to see the last man on the planet she wanted as her co-star.

Ryan Manning is fresh out of rehab and determined to do anything to win back the heart of the woman he loves. His drunkenness broke both his and Brynn’s hearts when he screwed up and nearly ruined his life. But Ryan’s changed for good and he’ll do anything to prove it to Brynn, if only she’d listen. It’s going to take every ounce of sensual persuasion Ryan possesses to get a second shot at the kind of love most believe can only be found in the movies.

Forget the lights and camera – Unscripted is all about action. Kristin Daniels has written a red-hot romance that sizzles with passion and captures the heart with the characters’ unrelenting honesty and the hero’s taking responsibility for his actions. What I loved most about Unscripted was Ryan’s owning up to how he had messed up in the past. He never blames anyone or anything for his alcoholism, and that, more than anything, shows his true character. I adored him for it and I’m not above saying his innate sex appeal helped as well to make Ryan sigh-worthy hero material. As for the woman Ryan works so hard to win back, Brynn is a wonderful heroine. She doesn’t let Ryan off the hook easily, nor is she overly hard-headed. She clearly loves Ryan, but she’s been burned by him once before. The connection between them practically causes sparks to jump off the page and I couldn’t stop reading Unscripted because it was clear to me these two were destined to be and I wanted to see how everything played out. Ms. Daniels has a blockbuster of her own with Unscripted – it’s four-star entertainment.
