Freeze Frame - Mia Watts My review cross-posted from Joyfully Reviewed: http://www.joyfullyreviewed.com/reviews/May10/freezeframe.mw.html

All the Harper siblings are half-breed faeries, which is how it ended up that the “gifts” they possess tend to operate “faerily imperfectly.” For Dill Harper, his ability to freeze time almost always happens when he doesn’t want it to, while never happening when he does. It gets worse for Dill when he takes on a case for Harper Security that includes watching the drop-dead sexy Mason Haliday. Mason wants nothing to do with Dill, especially when he learns about Dill’s powers. But someone has put a hit on Mason, and whether the tattoo’d, scarred-hearted man wants it or not, Dill’s going to watch his very fine back.

It’s time to watch a third Harper sibling fall head over heels in love in the wickedly sexy Freeze Frame. Poor Dill’s powers backfire on him in the worst of ways, but I was happily along for the ride, eagerly reading along to see things work out for him. As with his brother and sister before him, Dill is a likeable protagonist. It’s easy to fall for him, though perhaps easier for me than it is for Mason. The object of Dill’s affections has been hurt one too many times in the past to risk loving Dill. My heart ached for Mason and I wanted to see Dill break through the walls surrounding his heart. Their romance made me sigh while the love scenes made me blush – a recipe for success if there ever was one. Freeze Frame was a delight through and through and I can’t wait to read the next Faerily Imperfect book!
